Member of a team of 3-5 developers responsible for development and maintenance of company's software products. Existing versions were developed using MS Access and Visual Basic, their replacements were written in Java and MS SQL Server.
Jointly responsible, with company's Product Specialists, for defining, documenting and prioritising system requirements acording to company's quality system. Included close collaboration with significant customers, primarily within the NHS.
Significant focus on component-based development, particularly with regards to the use of free and open source technology. Notable items used include Eclipse, CVS, Hibernate, JUnit and Ant.

Responsible for implementation of web-based content managment (CMS) and shopping cart systems, on a variety of web sites. Developed using Active Server Pages (ASP) and MS Access, the solutions would be customised to each client's requirements.
